Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts
- Develop quantitative trend models using machine learning and big data analytics
- Produce foresight reports for C-suite executives across tech, healthcare, and finance sectors
- Facilitate scenario-planning workshops with global stakeholders
- Author white papers on ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced forecasting methodologies
- Advise the board on long-term strategic investments
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight or technology forecasting
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and causal layered analysis
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals
- Proficiency in Python/R for trend modeling and data visualization
- Experience advising Fortune 500 leadership teams
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS)
