Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize low-latency pricing engines for complex equity options and derivatives.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to implement and validate mathematical models (e.g., Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo simulations).
- Ensure the reliability and high availability of critical trading infrastructure using distributed systems principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high technical standards.
- Interface with market data providers to ingest and normalize vast streams of financial data in real-time.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on high-frequency trading or financial technology.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Java, with deep understanding of memory management and concurrency.
- Experience building systems that process millions of data points per second with sub-millisecond latency.
- Familiarity with financial derivatives, options pricing, or related quantitative concepts.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
