Our team develops mission-critical software for option pricing, risk management, and algorithmic trading systems. You'll collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to design solutions that process millions of transactions daily while maintaining sub-millisecond latency requirements. This position includes weekend coverage (Sat-Sun) with weekday flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop low-latency C++/Java applications for equity options pricing and risk analytics
- Implement complex financial algorithms including Black-Scholes and Monte Carlo simulations
- Optimize trading systems for high-frequency derivatives markets with sub-100ms SLAs
- Integrate with market data feeds (ITCH/ITCHv5) and exchange connectivity protocols
- Lead code reviews and architectural decisions for real-time trading platforms
- Collaborate with quants to translate mathematical models into production-ready code
- Monitor and resolve production issues during market hours and weekend maintenance windows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in high-performance financial software development
- Expertise in C++ and/or Java with multithreading and concurrency knowledge
- Deep understanding of equity options pricing models and derivatives markets
- Proficiency with Linux, TCP/IP networking, and low-latency system design
- Experience with market data protocols (FIX, ITCH) and exchange connectivity
- Strong background in data structures and algorithms for time-critical systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
