Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain low-latency C++ and Java applications for equity options pricing and execution systems
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to implement and validate complex financial models
- Optimize trading algorithms for performance, scalability, and regulatory compliance
- Build robust monitoring and alerting systems for options trading infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions for the trading platform
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in high-performance software development for financial markets
- Expert proficiency in C++ and Java with strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency
- Deep knowledge of equity options, derivatives pricing models (Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo), and market microstructure
- Experience with Linux systems, network programming, and low-latency architectures
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, and cloud technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment
