Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest and process real-time equity options data.
- Perform deep-dive quantitative analysis on option chain flows, volatility surfaces, and implied volatility indices.
- Collaborate with traders and risk managers to translate complex market data into intuitive dashboards and reports.
- Identify market anomalies and emerging trends in the equity options space to support strategic decision-making.
- Optimize data models to ensure high-speed retrieval and accuracy for daily trading operations.
- Maintain and document data governance policies specific to derivatives trading.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst within the Financial Services, Fintech, or Equity Derivatives sector.
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js.
- Deep understanding of equity options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and market mechanics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
