Responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of equity options market data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential arbitrage opportunities.
- Design and maintain complex ETL pipelines to ingest and process real-time data feeds from major exchanges.
- Create interactive, high-performance dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to visualize volatility surfaces and open interest trends for trading desks.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers to test and validate pricing models using historical and real-time data.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all financial reporting and trading systems.
- Document data processes and provide training to junior analysts on data architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or quantitative trading support.
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), and R.
- Deep understanding of equity options mechanics, Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Vega), and implied volatility.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
