Responsibilities
- Analyze Equity Options Data: Conduct in-depth analysis of equity option pricing, volume, and open interest data to identify market trends and trading opportunities.
- Develop Dashboards: Create and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize complex financial data for stakeholders.
- Automate Reporting: Write efficient SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and reporting processes, ensuring timely delivery of critical financial reports.
- Collaborate with Traders: Partner with trading teams to optimize equity option strategies based on quantitative analysis and market research.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Validate data accuracy across all financial systems and databases to prevent errors in reporting.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry news and economic indicators that may impact equity options markets.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the financial sector or equity trading.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) is mandatory.
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of equity options, derivatives, and financial modeling concepts.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex data insights to non-technical teams.
