Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret equity options market data using SQL, Python, and R to identify pricing inefficiencies and trading opportunities
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines for real-time options pricing and volatility modeling
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize options risk metrics and P&L drivers
- Collaborate with quants to backtest options strategies and validate model assumptions
- Present complex analytics to senior stakeholders through clear, data-driven narratives
- Monitor regulatory compliance in options reporting and ensure adherence to FINRA/NASD standards
- Lead ad-hoc projects to investigate market anomalies and emerging trends in derivatives markets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in equity options data analysis or quantitative finance
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
- Strong understanding of Black-Scholes model, volatility surfaces, and options Greeks
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Experience with market data vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or similar)
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for derivatives reporting (SEC, CFTC)
- Ability to translate complex quantitative concepts for non-technical stakeholders
