We are looking for a dedicated Data Analyst to join our weekend operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals in New York or Ohio seeking a flexible remote position. You will play a critical role in analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support business growth during non-peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Gather and process large datasets from various sources using SQL and Python.
- Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis to uncover trends and anomalies in weekend data streams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in NY and Ohio to define data requirements and deliver reports.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and propose solutions to enhance accuracy.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably with weekend shift experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex data insights.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities during weekend shifts.
