Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Architecture: Design and maintain robust data pipelines to support federal reporting requirements and strategic initiatives.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, anomalies, and predictive insights.
- Visualization: Create compelling, interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with policy teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate data needs into technical requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with federal data governance standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/Redshift), Python or R, and visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, concise written and verbal reports.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues independently.
