Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and patterns that influence business decisions.
- SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and deliver high-quality insights.
- Forecasting: Create predictive models to assist in revenue forecasting and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R. Strong experience with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues and derive logical conclusions.
- Location: Must reside within or be willing to work in the New York or North Carolina area (Hybrid/Remote).
