Job Summary
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Your insights will directly influence product development and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Mining: Gather large datasets from various sources, including databases and spreadsheets, and clean and preprocess the data for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Business Intelligence: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track their performance.
- Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries to extract specific data sets and ensure data integrity across the organization.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to assist in forecasting sales and operational metrics.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with scripting languages like Python or R.
