Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within the data.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key metrics for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations that explain data findings to non-technical audiences, making complex information accessible.
- Process Optimization: Work with IT and operations teams to improve data pipelines and reporting infrastructure.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to support strategic planning and budgeting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and querying; experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and derive logical conclusions from unstructured data.
