Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights that drive business growth. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, optimize processes, and build robust data models.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to visualize data for stakeholders.
- SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and perform data manipulation.
- Statistical Modeling: Develop statistical models and algorithms to predict market trends and business performance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate technical findings into clear, concise business recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in data processes and recommend solutions to improve data quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python, or R. Experience with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data simply.
- Location: Must reside in San Antonio, TX (to facilitate occasional on-site collaboration).
