As a Data Analyst at Apex, you will bridge the gap between technical data and business strategy. Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and patterns that drive business growth.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders effectively.
- SQL Proficiency: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data, optimizing database performance where necessary.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with operations teams to recommend data-driven process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to assist in quarterly forecasting and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Programming: Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights.
- Remote Work: Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting with high levels of self-motivation and time management.
