Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business strategy.
- Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker to present findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write optimized SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and perform complex joins and aggregations.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and support long-term planning initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, and operations to understand their data needs.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) is required.
- Visualization Tools: Strong experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or similar BI tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues and derive insights under pressure.
