Role Overview:
As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our data-driven decision-making process. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large data sets. We are looking for a proactive individual who can identify trends, opportunities, and problems in complex data sets, driving strategic growth for the company.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather and verify data from various sources, ensuring high-quality, clean datasets for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create clear, concise, and visually compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, and operations to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and suggest data-driven strategies to optimize business performance.
- Database Management: Maintain and update databases, ensuring data integrity and security standards are met.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is required.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve complex problems. Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location Flexibility: Ability to work effectively in a hybrid or fully remote environment, with potential for on-site presence in New York or North Carolina.
