Apex Data Innovations is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data sets and actionable business strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, develop predictive models, and create compelling visualizations that drive decision-making. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform large, complex datasets to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Perform statistical analysis to forecast market trends and evaluate equity options performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate business questions into analytical tasks.
- Document data pipelines and analytical methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Identify process improvements and optimization opportunities through rigorous data review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably in the finance or tech sector.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for querying and data extraction.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- Expert-level knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud data warehousing (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
