Job Description
We are urgently looking for a highly analytical Data Analyst to join our team. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility for professionals based in Fort Worth, TX or supporting clients in Virginia.
In this role, you will be the bridge between our data and business strategy. You will collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large data sets to drive business decisions and optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transform raw data into actionable insights using SQL and Python.
- Create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within complex datasets.
- Present clear, data-driven recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Data Analysis or a similar remote role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret data from various sources to support business operations.
- Develop complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Present findings and actionable insights to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve data infrastructure and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Data Analysis or a similar remote role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
