Responsibilities
- Design and maintain complex database queries using SQL to extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to monitor KPIs and business performance.
- Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting frameworks.
- Document data processes and methodologies to ensure data governance and reproducibility.
- Present findings and insights to executive leadership in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Expert proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) and Python for data manipulation.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relocation eligibility and willingness to relocate to San Jose, CA.
