Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing team in Houston, TX. This is a fully remote position requiring a dedicated Night Shift schedule (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST).
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for data interpretation, ensuring our clients receive accurate insights even when the rest of the world is sleeping. You will leverage advanced analytics to drive strategic decisions, optimize operational efficiency, and uncover hidden trends within our complex datasets.

Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleansing: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality and integrity.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis on historical and real-time data to identify business trends, anomalies, and opportunities for growth.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify bottlenecks in data pipelines and recommend automation solutions.
- Night Shift Monitoring: Oversee automated reporting systems during off-peak hours to troubleshoot issues and ensure 24/7 operational stability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, with a proven track record in remote work environments.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced queries), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and at least one data visualization tool (Tableau or Power BI).
- Schedule: Must be available and willing to work the Night Shift (10 PM - 6 AM EST).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
