The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, generating complex reports, and providing actionable insights to leadership at all hours. This is not a data entry role; it requires a deep understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources using SQL and Python to ensure data accuracy for night-shift reporting.
- Design and maintain complex dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop data-driven solutions.
- Perform trend analysis and forecasting to support strategic planning and operational adjustments.
- Document data processes and create technical specifications for system improvements.
- Maintain data governance protocols and ensure compliance with company security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures) and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively during the night shift (e.g., 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM) with high reliability and focus.
