Responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of operational data during night shifts to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and update interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize real-time data for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform raw data into meaningful reports.
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting key metrics and forecasting future trends.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss data-driven insights and recommend strategic initiatives.
- Maintain documentation for data pipelines and analytical processes to ensure team scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and experience with ETL processes.
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Experience with programming languages like Python or R is highly preferred.
- Must be available and willing to work rotating Night Shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Willingness to relocate to Long Beach, CA, with the ability to utilize our relocation assistance package.
