As a Night Shift Data Analyst, you will be the guardian of our data integrity during critical off-hours. You will analyze real-time data streams, uncover actionable insights, and produce high-impact visualizations that guide our 24/7 strategic decisions. Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities that drive business strategy.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize KPIs for stakeholders.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various databases and sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, and Operations) to define data requirements and optimize data pipelines.
- Generate comprehensive nightly reports and executive summaries, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all night-shift reporting systems.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data analysis workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on night shift or 24/7 operations preferred.
- Expert proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift while maintaining high productivity.
