Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
- Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Night Shift Operations: Oversee data processing and quality assurance during the night shift to ensure morning teams have accurate data to start their day.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract data, optimize database queries, and troubleshoot data anomalies.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current reporting processes and automate them to save time and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python or R.
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Schedule: Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar) on a full-time basis.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Willingness to work from our Nashville, TN office or hybrid remote arrangements within North Carolina.
