As a night shift analyst, you will bridge the gap between raw data and strategic decision-making, allowing the daytime teams to focus on execution while you ensure the foundation is solid.
Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning & Processing: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for the night shift reporting cycle.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data, optimize database performance, and troubleshoot data integrity issues.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports highlighting trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for executive stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the product and operations teams to define data requirements and solve complex analytical problems.
- Automated Workflows: Script automated data pipelines to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a 24/7 operational environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Visualization: Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work the night shift schedule (typically 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of maintaining high data accuracy.
