Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Processing: Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy for the night shift reporting cycle.
- Performance Reporting: Generate complex daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to track KPIs.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- SQL Optimization: Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries to improve data retrieval speeds and reduce query execution time.
- Automated Workflows: Develop and maintain automated scripts and ETL processes to streamline nightly data workflows.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all data processes comply with internal security standards and maintain detailed technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the tech or financial services sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex data issues.
