Responsibilities
- Conduct In-Depth Data Analysis: Utilize SQL, Python, and R to mine large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic initiatives.
- Develop Interactive Dashboards: Create compelling visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver customized reporting solutions.
- Ensure Data Quality & Integrity: Implement data governance policies and perform rigorous testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all data sources.
- Automate Reporting Processes: Streamline data workflows and automate manual reporting tasks to increase efficiency and reduce human error.
- Forecasting & Modeling: Build predictive models to forecast market trends and support long-term business planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar quantitative role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL (querying & optimization) and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Statistical Knowledge: Solid understanding of statistical principles, A/B testing, and regression analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
