Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive stakeholders.
- Statistical Modeling: Perform complex statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and forecast business outcomes.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Engineering) to translate data findings into strategic recommendations.
- SQL & Data Engineering: Write complex SQL queries and scripts to extract data from various databases and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, PostgreSQL).
- Communication: Present data-driven insights to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Tech Stack: Expert proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Big Data: Experience working with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be willing to work in our New York, NY office.
