Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Modeling: Design, build, and maintain complex data models and ETL pipelines to support business intelligence reporting.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive, high-performance dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and predictive insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- SQL Optimization: Write efficient, optimized SQL queries and stored procedures to extract data from large, multi-source databases.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and ensure data accuracy across the organization.
- Automated Reporting: Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce data entry errors.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and provide clear, data-backed recommendations.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
