Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for sophisticated cyberattacks including ransomware and APTs
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-prem infrastructure
- Develop security automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness across client organizations
- Collaborate with red teams to simulate advanced persistent threats
- Present executive-level security briefings to CISOs and boards
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required (GSEC acceptable)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security architecture
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Strong background in digital forensics and malware analysis
- Excellent communication skills for technical/non-technical stakeholders
