Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets of equity options to identify market trends, volatility patterns, and trading opportunities.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize complex financial metrics for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the trading desk and financial planners to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all financial reporting systems.
- Build and automate reporting pipelines to streamline daily operations and reduce manual overhead.
- Research and implement new analytical methods to enhance the predictive power of our models.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst in the financial sector, specifically focusing on equity options or derivatives.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis.
- Strong SQL skills for querying complex relational databases.
- Experience with financial modeling, options pricing theories (e.g., Black-Scholes), and risk management concepts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
