Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large datasets related to equity options, implied volatility, and open interest to support trading decisions.
- Develop and maintain robust SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and reporting pipelines.
- Design interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize market movements and risk metrics in real-time.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to model complex derivatives scenarios and stress-test trading portfolios.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial reporting systems and databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in financial services or equity options trading.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Deep understanding of financial derivatives, specifically options pricing models (Black-Scholes, binomial trees) and the Greeks.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
