Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of equity options flow, pricing, and volatility data to support trading strategies and investment decisions.
- Design and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction, cleaning, and reporting processes.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to monitor market performance and risk exposure in real-time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine financial models, backtest strategies, and improve operational efficiency.
- Identify anomalies in market data and produce detailed reports for executive stakeholders to guide business strategy.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with financial regulations and internal data governance standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services, equity markets, or options trading sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib).
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial), Greeks, and market microstructure.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
