Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing equity options data, maintaining data pipelines, and creating visualizations that help our trading floor make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of equity options data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the market.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction and processing.
- Create interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to monitor option metrics and performance.
- Collaborate with the quantitative research team to support the development of option pricing models.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial reporting systems.
- Communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in the financial services or options trading industry.
- Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Strong understanding of equity options concepts, including calls, puts, strikes, and the Greeks.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
