Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of equity options data to identify trading opportunities, volatility trends, and risk exposure.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data retrieval and reporting processes.
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize real-time market data for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex financial data into actionable business intelligence.
- Monitor market anomalies and perform variance analysis to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Assist in the development of quantitative models for pricing and risk management.
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports highlighting key metrics and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the financial services or equity options sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Experience with financial data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Deep understanding of equity options, derivatives, and financial market terminology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
