Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive visualizations and dashboards (using Tableau or PowerBI) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business strategy.
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and executive summaries that translate complex data into actionable insights for the leadership team.
- SQL Development: Write optimized SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and support ad-hoc analysis requests.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and improve data infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python (Pandas/NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong experience with Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Excel: Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and Macros.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
