Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Mining & Analysis: Utilize Python and SQL to mine complex datasets, identify trends, and generate deep insights that influence key business strategies.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive, high-level dashboards using Tableau and PowerBI to visualize KPIs and performance metrics for stakeholders.
- Forecasting & Modeling: Develop predictive models to forecast market trends, customer behavior, and revenue streams, reducing uncertainty for the executive team.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to automate reporting processes, significantly reducing manual data entry and increasing efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise narratives for non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment across all departments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence within a tech environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis libraries.
- Visualization: Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot data quality issues and derive value from 'dirty' data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data simply.
