Responsibilities
- Transform Raw Data: Collect, clean, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform business strategy.
- Visualize Insights: Design and develop compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to make data accessible and understandable for non-technical stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform in-depth statistical analysis and modeling to forecast trends, evaluate performance metrics, and support critical decision-making processes.
- Database Management: Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure the integrity and accuracy of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, SQL).
- Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational efficiency by analyzing workflow data and proposing data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and experience with Python or R for data manipulation is required.
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Tools: Familiarity with ETL processes, cloud data warehouses (AWS/GCP), and Agile methodologies is a plus.
