Responsibilities
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights: Develop comprehensive reports and visualizations that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Optimize data infrastructure: Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Build interactive dashboards: Create intuitive Power BI and Tableau dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical modeling: Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Stakeholder communication: Present complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Database management: Monitor data quality and integrity, performing data cleaning and ETL processes as necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to deconstruct complex problems and derive logical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- San Jose Location: Must be willing to work on-site in San Jose, CA.
