Join Coastal Analytics Group as a Senior Data Analyst and transform raw data into actionable business intelligence. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to drive data-driven decisions across our maritime and logistics divisions. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely 2 days weekly while collaborating with our Virginia Beach-based team. You'll leverage advanced analytics to optimize supply chain operations, identify market trends, and support strategic initiatives that impact our 500+ clients nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and Tableau to identify operational inefficiencies and growth opportunities
- Develop interactive dashboards and KPI reports for executive leadership and department heads
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement A/B testing frameworks
- Create predictive models to forecast demand and optimize inventory management
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and clear narratives
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation protocols and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics or business intelligence
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical insights for non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that impact business outcomes
