Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data models to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI to communicate key findings to stakeholders
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for business optimization
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data requirements and implement tracking solutions
- Create comprehensive documentation of data processes, methodologies, and analytical findings
- Mentor junior analysts and champion best practices in data quality and governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong statistical knowledge and experience with A/B testing methodologies
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP) and ETL processes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
