Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and analyze healthcare datasets from EHR systems and claims databases
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI to track KPIs for clinical operations and revenue cycle management
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends in patient readmission rates and treatment effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions
- Create monthly performance reports for hospital executives and department heads
- Maintain data quality standards through automated validation checks and anomaly detection
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analytics experience with SQL and relational databases
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and R for statistical modeling
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI)
- Experience with healthcare data (HIPAA compliance knowledge a plus)
- Strong business acumen to translate technical findings into strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data to non-technical audiences
- Certification in Google Analytics or AWS Data Analytics preferred
