Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Modeling: Utilize SQL and Python to extract, clean, and transform large datasets into meaningful models.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and forecasting to support business planning and budgeting.
- Reporting: Create clear, executive-level reports and presentations that translate complex data findings into simple business insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify data gaps and inefficiencies in current reporting systems and propose solutions to improve data integrity.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and analytics roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages (Python or R). Experience with ETL processes.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and Google Analytics.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
