Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols for equity options trading platforms and related financial systems
- Monitor and respond to sophisticated cyber threats targeting trading infrastructure
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on trading applications
- Collaborate with trading teams to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks specific to options markets
- Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, and other financial regulatory requirements
- Develop incident response plans for trading system breaches and market manipulation attempts
- Lead security awareness training for trading and operations staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with financial services or trading platforms
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Deep understanding of equity options trading mechanics and associated cyber risks
- Expertise in security monitoring tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong knowledge of NIST CSF and financial industry regulations
