Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls across networks
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and contribute to incident response protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies
- Complete cybersecurity certification training programs (CompTIA Security+, CISSP Associate)
- Stay updated on emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly through structured training
