Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security frameworks for options trading platforms including real-time threat detection systems
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on trading APIs and market data feeds
- Lead incident response for trading system breaches with <15-minute SLAs
- Collaborate with quant developers to embed security in options pricing algorithms
- Monitor dark web for trading platform exploits and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Develop compliance frameworks for FINRA and SEC regulations specific to options trading
- Mentor junior security analysts through our accredited training program
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in financial services/fintech
- Certified CISSP or OSCP with active CISM preferred
- Expertise in options trading protocols and market data encryption (FIX protocol)
- Advanced experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Proven track record protecting high-frequency trading systems
- Strong knowledge of FINRA Rule 15c3-5 and SEC cybersecurity frameworks
- Proficiency in Python for security automation and threat modeling
