Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents targeting equity options trading platforms during night shift hours
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial derivatives systems
- Implement and maintain advanced security controls including SIEM, EDR, and encryption protocols
- Collaborate with trading desks to develop real-time threat detection for options market manipulation
- Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, and CFTC cybersecurity regulations
- Lead incident response for complex attacks on trading algorithms and order management systems
- Document security protocols and conduct training for remote trading teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with financial services or trading systems
- Certifications in CISSP, CISM, or CEH with financial security specialization
- Expertise in options trading platforms, market data feeds, and FIX protocol security
- Advanced knowledge of threat modeling for financial derivatives and algorithmic trading
- Proven experience working independently in remote security operations
