Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on financial software
- Lead incident response for trading system breaches with <15-minute SLAs
- Develop security protocols for options market data encryption and transmission
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to secure algorithmic trading systems
- Ensure compliance with SEC Rule 15c3-3 and FINRA cybersecurity regulations
- Mentor junior security analysts on financial threat intelligence
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in financial services
- CISM, CISSP, or CISA certification required
- Expertise in network security, SIEM tools, and threat hunting
- Knowledge of options trading systems (e.g., CME, ICE) preferred
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) for financial data
- Understanding of SEC/FINRA cybersecurity regulations
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for security automation
- TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days
