Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Monitor security alerts and conduct 24/7 incident response to mitigate threats in real-time.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure compliance.
- Develop and enforce robust security policies aligned with NIST, ISO, and HIPAA frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Lead forensic investigations and root cause analysis for security breaches.
- Train and mentor junior security analysts on best practices and threat landscape awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to relocate to Georgia (Relocation assistance provided).
